It is nice that japan can make a new line of processors, keep the price of DRAMs way up and then try to take over CPU market. I think that Motorola and Intel will survive the upcomming CPU dumping but I don't think that Nat'l Semiconductor (which make the best processor I think) will survive. IF the goverment of this country makes japan put our cpu's in products sold in this country then that will at least let up sell them some CPUs. I don't like all the gifts that this country keeps giving japan, we help them out, deffend them and they still won't follow agreements. I also think that Toshiba should be on the aucton block, and sold to the higest american citizen bidder. There is no excuse to alow a company to exist that we help out and the sells our high-tech info. (this is one way to get lots of email :-) This is in the wrong group but DRAM prices are hurting everyone that buys computers. -tim@scsmo1.uucp
