By the way, what ever happened to the C conversion of the Punter module that was alluded to on this newsgroup? But back to the subject at hand. I have a terminal emulator called "Thirdterm" that I use to get around this problem (yes, there also are Firstterm and Secondterm versions out there). The X-Modem option in this particular program asks you if you want to do the Ascii to PET Half-Ascii conversion.
