Keywords: HP-supported X11; HP 9000/320 Message-ID: <347@pai.UUCP> Date: 8 Jan 89 21:16:49 GMT Organization: Prime Automation, Inc., Burnsville, MN Lines: 33 For the HP 9000 Series 300: I am looking for the supposedly-existing HP version of X11 (R2, R3?). If anyone has any pointers to this, please tell me. An HP part number would really come in handy. What I am looking for is the Hp-supported product, not the generic X11 R3. We currently have the HP X10 product and the local (Roseville, MN) office has not been too helpful on X11 -- they just sent us the last X10 tape again when we asked for X11. We are on the software update program for X -- I'm not sure if HP has decided that this only applies to X10 or if it applies to X11. If I could get a part number, I think it would be easier to badger HP about this. As of August, 1988, HP personnel I met at a conference in St. Paul (Minn.) told me they were already running X11 and that I should either a) have already received X11 or b) have it on the way. We have seen nothing on this. * Does an HP X11 product exist? I suspect it would be X11 R2, since that is where the HP widgets are at, I believe. * If it does, what is the part number, and who can I call to get this? Thank you, -Eric -- Eric F.
