It would be much appreciated (MUCH). Set your dialing prefix to *70 (touch-tone) or 1170 (pulse dial) in ProComm. This turns off call waiting for the duration of the current call. Be forewarned that not all exchanges let you do this, but it works here, and the worst that can happen to you is you'll get a recording saying you've misdialed.
