So far the discussion has been reasonable, literate, and quite informative. The original posting suggested that 'comp.mail.fax' would be a reasonable name. Since then the tone of discussion has veered away from a strictly electronic mail perspective towards a more general data communications perspective. In order to give the group a little more visibility, and to test the waters for a possible call for votes, I'd like to entertain discussion on the appropriateness of the name 'comp.dcom.fax' for a new group. No votes yet, please; I'm not sure that the group propogates well enough or far enough yet.
