I am anxiously awaiting a version of TC that supports 320x200x256 and some of the other extended VGA modes such as 640x400x256, 800x600x16 etc. I understand that one of the problems with supporting some of the extended video modes is that each of the video chip manufacturers is using a different mechanism to access these modes. I have considered writing an assembler interface to access some of these extended modes but that has the unfortunate side effect of requiring me to rewrite all of the graphics primitives such as "line()", "rectangle()", "putpixel()" etc. Now if someone out there has already done this and wants to share it I would only be too happy to werve as a Beta test site. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _ , __ Kevin Owen @ Hewlett-Packard ' ) / / ') Cupertino, California /-< _ , __o ____ / / , , , _ ____ Phone : (408) 447-0218 / )
