[ rest deleted for bandwidth] The stand-alone debugger will only work with TC 2.0 and later and TP 5.0 and later. TP 5.0 has overlays which TP 4.0 didn't. TC 2.0 is a MUCH better compiler particularly for ANSI portability ( I port things a lot). There are other improvements and changes as well. The same standalone debugger works with both TC and TP, so if one is going to upgrade both, one need only get 1 in the "professional" package.
