Message-ID: <403@taux02.UUCP> Date: 9 Jan 89 13:38:15 GMT Reply-To: taux01!cyosta@nsc.UUCP ( Yossie Silverman ) Organization: National Semiconductor (IC) Ltd, Israel Lines: 15 I am looking for ideas on how to turn a Mac128 into a usable machine. I assume it would require a 1Meg memory upgrade, 128K ROMs, and a new 800K drive. I am looking for a solution that could be done at home, and would be as cheep as possible. I was thinking of a third party memory board (though I have no idea which), and buying the ROMs and drive from an apple dealer. Can anyone verify if this is a good idea and if a better one is possible? I'll summerize all results to the network. - Yossie P.s. I didn't mention the SCSI 'cause (a) its easy to do later and (b) its not needed now. -- Yossie Silverman What did the Caspian sea? National Semiconductor Ltd.
