Keywords: Sum, MenuClock101 Message-ID: <1214@usfvax2.EDU> Date: 10 Jan 89 03:42:29 GMT Reply-To: pollock@usfvax2.UUCP (Wayne Pollock) Organization: University of South Florida at Tampa Lines: 24 References: After receiving SUM 1.02 today, I tried to create a disk partition using HD Partition; I set the new partition to auto-mount. It crashed at boot time with "System error 25 at 4081E434 ... No procedure name ... ;A9FF" By using the AAsk cdev (which I love), I determined the offending INIT was "MenuClock101", which has worked flawlessly till now with everything else. Anyone know what's wrong? Is there any other decent menuclocks available that will work with SUM's partitioning software? (I ask this because I'm not at all certain the problem is SUM's fault!) After calling symetec on another matter, I asked about the upgrade to version 1.1 advertised in February's MacUser. The sales people knew nothing about it, and the tech support person I spoke with also had no information, but he did say that the offer was "premature". Comments? (In particular, will version 1.1 fix this compatibility problem and when will it be available?) It must've been lost! 1/2 :-)
