It records it as an ordinary open of the DA. I would like to be able to have a macro that opens a DA, does things in it, closes it, and returns to the layer that was active beforehand. At the moment, if there are other DAs open, the DA handler layer will stay active. I could Quit from the DA handler layer but I don't want to do that for some situations. Anybody, is there a fix? Apple, is Macromaker's ignoring the option key at that time a bug or a feature? Is there something dangerous about opening DAs in this way? Thanks in advance, ...D.A.V. David A.
