How can I get the F1 key to send out a "normal" escape sequence in a SunView window? I am using tn3270 to access IBM's PROFS system and I want F1 through F12 on my 386i to map to the appropriate keys. F2 through F12 are no problem but F1 is intercepted by SunView to make the window CAPS only (a useless "feature" as far as I am concerned!). Someone said in a previous Sun Spots that this can be done in the .ttyswrc file but the SunView manual explicitly states that F1 CANNOT be remapped this way. The programs in previous Sun Spots are all oriented around defeating the CAPS lock key (the one labeled Caps), not the F1 key. Any help would be appreciated. - Glenn Roberts, The MITRE Corp., McLean VA (703)-883-6820 gfr%wolfgang@gateway.mitre.org
