I have been told that the projectors that can do this are in the $10K+ class, and I am looking for a <$3K solution. I know there are LCD panels that will work with the MacII for about $1800, and monochrome projectors at about $3K. If nothing else I guess we could live with using a MacII running X or NeWS (under A/UX) as a display (and projection) server for our Suns. When Sunview2 emerges for X11/NeWS that will be less limiting than it now is. (We already have the MacII-A/UX, that doesn't count in our cost). Still, if there is a low cost solution for displaying a Sun directly I would like to know about it.
