My understanding is that there is not a diagnostic/format program
available for Sun 4's running 3.x yet. This means you must format and
label the disks on a Sun 3 3.x system and then install them on a Sun 4
system.

We have a Sun 4/280 running 4.0.1 of the Sun OS with a Xylogics 753
connected to a Fuji 2382. This seems to work pretty well. We have not done
any performance test to date, but plan to.
