Subject: Programs under Sunview which are NOT event driven?

I want to write a simulation program under sunview which will run by
itself (that is, in the absence of any events) but which can be interupted
by certain events (a click on a quit button, say).  Also, I want the menus
which appear with a mouseclick on the frame border to work.  Is there an
easy way to do this? How about a hard way?
