PRE is of course simply Trollius (formerly called Trillium) with minor changes. Us Trollius developers group at Cornell have been working on expanding the choice of compilers for Trollius users. At this point I have it set up so that Trollius APPLICATIONS can be compiled with the Logical Systems compiler, although Trollius itself not yet. We are working on it. If you only have the PRE BINARIES that's almost good enough, but I am not sure whether the current hacked version will work with the PRE services -- I only tested it using our original (version 1.1) Trollius. I will try it soon since we just got our own Niche board + PRE to work. (The Logical Systems compiler has a MUCH better math library than the Unidot one shipped with PRE). (I will also try and run the Logical Systems LOADER on the bare Niche board, without PRE.) I suspect you will need a SOURCE license for the Logical Systems compiler (about $1000) to use our thing since you'll need to compile it on the Sun and you'll also need our modified SOURCES to the logical systems compiler and libraries. - Moshe Braner Cornell Theory Center, 265 Olin Hall, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853 (607) 255-9401 (Work) (INTERNET) or (BITNET)
