I recently got myself a copy of the Jetroff postprocessor, so I could use my laser printer to do pretty things. I'm running Microport System V/386 3.0e with DWB also supplied by Microport. The installation process seemed to go pretty smoothly - all compiled well, etc. I then tried the make command to produce the documentation which is bundled with the package. It produced absolute gobbledegook on the printer. I've modified the shell script in ...lp/models to support the -otroff option, and I've set transparency on in the device driver. My printer is a LJ clone, but I'm pretty sure it is compatible enough that it isn't the source of my problem (it responds properly to all LJ commands I send to it from programs). I think I'm just overlooking something, but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions? -- Bill Michaelson - uh... princeton!mccc!cosi!bill, I think. also at...
