After getting access to the A/UX 1.0 sources under nondisclosure, I fixed the bug. Apple knows the fix, and hopefully will incorporate it into the 1.1 release if it isn't too late. The problem was in the ae6 driver. I have requested permission from Apple to post the binaries of my fixed version to the net. When I do so, I will also give installation directions. It's already been a couple of weeks, but they might be busy because of MacWorld. Stay tuned!
