I was luckly enough to be one of them :-) The "desk" that I had was a door with 2x4's for legs. Another person had a 1/2" Corn-board top and had put masking tape around the edges because it was ripping their pants when they leaned against it! We worked right there in the warehouse, no need for office space! They didn't bother to have any ventillation, after all it cost more if they opened the two 6" vents that the place did have. (6 chain smokers, an alcohol bath and other things..) On the other hand, Have you ever considered doing what we did for our users? (at my Current company), we just bought them AST 286'es, they cost about the same as the "spiffy" terminals.. and they Blow them away in versitillity! If they later decide that they want to do a little lotus spreadsheet, no problem!.. I think that they costs us about $2400.
