Kinmonth) Organization: University of California, Davis Lines: 9 I don't know where the balance of stupidity lies, but in any event, the latest version of Norton is a hair trigger disaster waiting to happen if you have MSDOS and Xenix on the same disk. Apparently, ndd ("norton disk doctor") does not bother to check whether a partion is actually MSDOS or not. With some options, it assumes everything on the disk is MSDOS with fatal results for the Xenix partition. I cannot give more detail because I'm not going to risk having to rebuild a 70 meg system just to find exactly which command trashed the system.
