Message-ID: <13500003@hpgrla.HP.COM> Date: 16 Jan 89 22:23:05 GMT Organization: Hewlett-Packard, Greeley, CO Lines: 15 I am trying to turn off the spooler from within a program. Changeing the value of the "spooler=" in WIN.INI is easy with a WriteProfileString function, however it appears to only change the WIN.INI file and not the environment. ( ie the spooler still comes up when the print starts, if the WIN.INI file started with "spooler=yes" ) I tried sending a WM_WININICHANGE message to all windows, however that appeared to not change anything. Has anybody kept the spooler from coming up from a program? Thanks, Jerry Donovan HP GHC ...!hplabs!hpfcla!hpgrla!jerryd
