Keywords: X10 Message-ID: <13108@duke.cs.duke.edu> Date: 18 Jan 89 19:45:37 GMT Sender: news@duke.cs.duke.edu Lines: 18 I'm going to have to support a stand-alone Sun 3/160 running X10, and I can't get X to start up on it. If I run a kernel that has device ie0 defined, I get a lot of ie0: no carrier messages. If I make a kernel without ie0, X won't start up. I tried using the kernel with ie0 included, and not doing the ifconfig of ie0, but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas how I might get around this? 3/160, SunOs 3.5 Ned Danieley (ndd@sunbar.mc.duke.edu) Basic Arrhythmia Laboratory Box 3140, Duke University Medical Center Durham, NC 27710 (919) 684-6807 or 684-6942
