Message-ID: <8901202315.AA18169@ATHENA.MIT.EDU> Date: 20 Jan 89 22:54:51 GMT Sender: daemon@bloom-beacon.MIT.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 17 Hi, As I have said in previous notes that got no response, I am having trouble getting a xwd image onto my HPLaserJet. hpxpr fails with a message about not being able to get the window name. When I print out the window_name_size, it is something like 18 billion. The program seems to get this stat from the xwd header file, and obviously it gets it wrong. I would like some response about changes in the specifications of xwd files and the xwd header file. (Please) piping the xwd output through the pbm convertors gives a garbled image on the printer. I had a kind fellow respond to this who suggested that the problem was with the getimage routine in the DEC server (??) If I could get hpxpr to work, the pbm problem would be unimportant for me. Any and all comments are appreciated, Rob.
