Can anyone tell me how to do it? I know I have to edit the loaddefs.el to put the change in auto-mode-alist. I also have to put a load command in site-init.el, right? I tried both but when I remake emacs, I got a Pure Lisp Stroage Exhausted message during the dump. How can I solve it? I am doing this on an AT&T 3B2 600 running SysV. Thanks a lot. Lawrence P.S.
