On Saturday, January 14, 1989, hp-sdd will be upgraded from an old VAX-11/780
to a new, very fast Hewlett-Packard 9000/850 machine.  

We expect that "hp-sdd" will be down for most of the day.  All uucp 
connections will be switched to the new machine.  Phone numbers
and passwords will remain the same.  We'll try to make the change as
painless as possible, but we can't guarantee that no mail will be lost,
so if in doubt, use another route.
