My JVC CD player has a component communication system they
call CompuLink-1/Syncro.  According to the instructions,
it is used by a JVC amplifier to tell one component to
start playing and all others to stop; as well as for the
CD player to tell a JVC tape recorder to start recording.

Does anyone know what the communications protocol (hardware/software) is?
Does anyone have a JVC amp booklet that gives a fuller description?
