Natick, MA 01760 Lines: 23 Can anyone explain who to connect an Epson printer (parallel port) to a Unix PC. I cannot seem to find a pinout explaination in any of the documentation. Is it as simple as the "male to male" centronix cable connection explaned in the User's manual? The printer type was setup using the mouse as an Epson parallel port. Is there some other setup required? When the lp is issued the system returns to the $ prompt and there is no printer output. Also, when the printer is powered up and is ready the Unix PC makees some noises in apparent recognition of the change in printer status. Thanks in advance... -- David Davidian | dbd@necntc.nec.com | ...harvard!necntc!dbd Facts are facts, in my | ...harvard!mirror!urartu!dbd employer's opinion. | dbd@urartu.UUCP
