Has anyone had any success in running NCSA's telnet software over
a network which also is running Novell Netware?

We recently hooked our lan to a bridge connected to the campus backbone
and found that Telnet and FTP work fine unless we log onto the Novell
server (2.0a) first... even logging out and removeing the Netware shell
from memory does no good.

Our Novell distributor merely asked "Telwhat?  That's not a Novell product!"

Surely others have a need to do remote logins from a lan???

Can anyone tell us what the problem is?  Or suggest a way to get around it
without checking out boot disks (most of our machines use boot roms!).
