Yet another data point. Same problem. Exactly. Using a TB+ to talk to some
1200 baud thingy.  But I'm running a 4.1bsd-based UUCP, though the other
end (the answering end) is a System-V, and may well be using HDB. And my
end is not using *any* flow control (TB+ interface "locked" at 9600).
