Well, this is not the right newsgroup for this, but I can't pass up that remark without saying that at least something ought to be said for "quality of life." I know some Asian immigrant engineers in the Silicon Valley who spend a total of 90 hours per week making money: (a) Their main job. (b) Outside consulting. (c) Landlordship. (d) Starting international businesses. (e) Etc. I'm grateful for them for their revitalizing the American economy, but I feel sorry for their spouses and kids. Nevertheless, lots of nonimmigrant Americans like money too, and yet I think that many of them are unaware of the chances to make some money in the computer world. >Now why can't Americans follow these ideas?
