We just installed GNU 18.52 with X window support on a Sun-3, Sun-4,
and HP-9000/318m.  Sun's work fine.  After a clean compile, the HP
appears to work but actually doesn't.  Cursor motion is broken.  ^f and
^b work, but ^p, ^n, ^v, M-v, etc don't work. The cursor moves back and
forth on the same line, but the contents of the screen never changes.

 Using the emacs on the Suns I can get an emacs X window on the HP that
works A-OK. Strange.  I suspect something in the code ifdef'ed for
HP-UX, but dunno.  Before we go romping through the source, has anyone
else seens this?  Our problem has also occurred to another person at
our site (working independently).
