Has anyone out there written routines using some of the more popular algorithms (e.g., media slice, or quadtree) which permit a 24-bit/pixel color image to be reduced to less color resolution. One bit increments would be ideal. We at least plan to show 16-bit and 12-bit versions in addition to the obvious 8-bit/pixel images. BTW C sources code would be best. Thanks in advance.
