I'm looking for information on various ways to store image data.  I've
already got stuff on Compuserve's GIF (interesting, but the 256 color
maximum seems limiting) and Waterloo's IM Raster (nice, but is it widely
used?) formats.  I have nothing, however, on TIFF.

If anyone out there has references to TIFF or similar beasts whose specs (at
least) are in the public domain, I'd like to hear about them.  Please
respond by email.  I will forward or summarize if requested.  Thanks.
