I didn't know about this until an eye exam some years ago. I'm not good at sports that involve hand-eye coordination (lik baseball) but am able to drive a car, etc. I suppose I adapted to this lack in my childhood. There have been occasions, when I am in unfamiliar surroundings, that I have been aware of my lack of depth perception.
