I'm planning to add a "write TIFF file" capability to a graphics program
I've written for the Mac II.  I have a copy of the rev. 4.0 TIFF
specification, and it seems reasonably clear... but it's certainly
possible that I'll program straight through a hole in the specification
(or program wrongly because I misunderstood something).  I'd like to make
sure that the output of my program is actually valid TIFF, by running it
through some sort of "read it and print a table-of-contents" program.

Does anybody have such a program available?  PD would be best... I'm not
selling my program for money and am thus somewhat reluctant to spend
lots of bucks in support of it.

I do have access to a shareware program that can read and [to some
extent] display 8-bit TIFF images, but I don't have one that can display
24-bit RGB TIFF.
