The file name in the /pub directory is sendmail-5.61+IDA.tar.Z . Several changes were made to cope with our local environment: Routing falls through to pathalias data if the best MX record points to the local machine. Rather than cycle through 5 second sleeps when the load average is too high, return a 421 error to make the connection go away for a while. Added the no-op TICK command to cope with batch SMTP from our BBT (Big Blue Thing). Minor changes for installation on SUN3, SUN4, and Pyramid machines. Pre- compiled executables for those machines can be found in the pub directory. I use these for upgrading the various UIUC machines. No warranty here. Everything changed from the vanilla distribution has been recorded with RCS. V5.61 is the smoothest installing sendmail I've ever come across. The people at Berkeley have done a real professional job on this release.
