The hard disk is an ST-225 with an Everex EV-390 (based on a WD chip set, I believe) controller. I have version 1.1 of minix, and have been able to run it on my machine, except I cannot get mkfs to create a file system on /dev/hd2 (partition 2). It reports: put_block couldn't write Error occurred while processing line 1 (or something to that effect). This is the error I still get when I install the xt_wini.c in the 1.1-1.2 upgrade, although it says it should work with the Western Digital controller chips. Has anyone else out there succeeded in getting Minix to make a file system on the Everex 390/ST-225 combination? Also, could someone please send me (or point me to an FTP site where I can get) the clock driver for the Quadram Quadboard? Thanks in advance, David ----- David C.
