	Thanks to all who helped me with the passwd problem.
 	The commands to change the perms and owner did work
	but, a listing showed me this...  (before the fact)

		# ls -l /usr/bin/passwd

		-rwsr-xr-x  root  ...

	I still went along and chown'ed and chmod'ed and it 
	then worked.

	Would copying the file from a floppy to the hard disk
	affect the SUID bit?  (If I did it when I was not su?)
