I would expect there are several catagories: (1) Games which can be installed simply by copying the distribution to the hard disk and setting up a few assigns in your startup sequence (I shouldn't need more than one hand to count these...) (2) Games which can be installed by using one of the commercial disk copier / copy breaker type programs, and then installed as in (1), possibly with some additional poking and patching of the binaries to remove things like hardcoded references to df0:. (3) Games which can be installed by obtaining a copy from a pirate that has spent mucho time cracking the game and getting it running. As usual, the bad guys get convenient usage and the good guys get the shaft... :-( (I'm only interested in (1) and (2)...) I'm having a party in a couple weeks and I'd like to set up the machine so several games are available and there are no loose floppies laying around to wander off. -Fred -- # Fred Fish, 1835 E.
