Message-ID: <1200@tellab5.tellabs.CHI.IL.US> Date: 27 Jan 89 04:16:14 GMT Reply-To: grj@tellab5.UUCP () Organization: Tellabs Inc., Lisle, Il. Lines: 15 Keywords: ------ Sorry if this has been covered many times before, but I don't get a chance to read this group often. Anyway - sometimes when I power on my A2000, the caps lock LED flashes at about a 1 or 2 Hz rate. The keyboard is then useless and nothing typed gets recognized. It seems to have started when I installed the new Kickstart 1.3 ROM, and only happens once in awhile. Usually powering down for a few seconds eliminates the problem, but sometimes I have to wait tens of minutes before I can turn on the power again. I tried Commodore customer support, but they were less than useful. What is the flashing LED trying to tell me? Thanks, Gary Jenkins
