     Can anyone tell me how to unlock a file (under 1.2 ) taht has been
left open by a terminating program.  Dos tells me that the file is in use
but the program has already ended.  I know that if i reboot, the file is
once again accessible, but that seems inelegant and a pain. (especially if
the file is in RAM: ).  
     Please mail responses to me.  Thanx.
