It's a utility from germany that is supposed to speed up disk access. I believe all it does is reorder the disk so all the files are not scattered around. But if you try it on a 1.3 bootable disk (such as making a fastdisk copy of the workbench 1.3 disk) ... GURU!! any one know why? I realize it's probably fastdisk's programmers fault and not workbench 1.3, but I would like to know why some programs work fine under 1.2 and guru under 1.3, if the only change is supposed to be the auto boot for hard drives (little good autoboot does me, I have a 1000 :> ) _______________________________________________________________________________ John Sparks // Amiga | corpane : sparks@corpane a.k.a \X/ UUCP | blitter : john@blitter (preferred; path below) RedHawk ~~~~~~~~~~~~| {rutgers|uunet}!ukma!corpane!disk!blitter!john D.R.A.G.O.N.| >> call D.I.S.K. @ 502/968-5401 thru -5406 << Ye Quote: Banks are the best example of the principle that it's easier to steal a dollar from 10 million people than $10 million from one person. -- Sidney Wolinsky, public-interest lawyer, on bank service fees. _______________________________________________________________________________
