Lines: 17 I had that problem once before when I first purchased my A1000!!! It seems that the typical cables that are made for the printer port of the Amiga's has a particular pin connected that will (at least on Epson's) tell the printer to do a MANUAL line feed (double spacing effect) after each line received! So, what I did was to hack apart my cable and remove the offending pin! Unfortunatly, I don't have any Epson (or compatible) manual's anymore.. So, I personally can't tell you which pin to cut the wire on... Perhaps it is explained in your Alp's manual.. Just look for the Centronics pinout and then look for a pin that is something like... Auto-linefeed..? I'm not sure if there is an easier way to do this, but I know that was what worked for me.. =============================================================================== I Thought So...
