So far, technical difficulties with the pass-through have apparently taken Pacific Peripherals well over a year to finish the SubSystem 1000, which is odd, since their Subsystem 500 has been out and working for a long time. Now Expansion Technologies and Phoenix Peripherals have gotten into the act, claiming that their 2-slot boxes are due out "next week." Anyone have any definite facts on: (a) Why?
