Fm: Don Curtis/SYSOP 76703,4321 I tried the updated procedure on my Sidecar JANUS drive and it seems to work. I think I will wait for JANUS 2.0 before I trust it for sure though. Since the first partition on my hard drive is for MS-DOS, I used the second partition (JH0:) for JANUS FFS. - ADISK reported partition 2 from cylinder 201 to 228 length 28. - DPFormat reported starting at 0 and ending at 25. - Watch early versions of Sectorama that can update to the wrong partition. - In the Mountlist I used low=0 and high cylinder= 25 (not 201 and 228). - A normal JANUS partition and a FFS JANUS can be on the same disk, but they cannot both be mounted. I guess I have to backup to floppies. - Yes, 4-5 times faster for big file reads and writes. Thanks! .....BJ BJ Hudson att!mtgzz!bjh
