Keywords: mac disks Message-ID: <103@dg.dg.com> Date: 25 Jan 89 19:13:40 GMT Organization: Data General Corp, Westboro, MA Lines: 10 I'd like to be able to read Macintosh formatted disks. Does anyone know of PD or non-PD software for the Amiga to do this using one of the amiga's 3 1/2" drives? The next question is: is this possible without a hardware addon? I'm aware the apple drives are able to change speeds, but the amiga can also change its parameters a bit (MFM, 2usec/4usec etc) and has some(but how much) tolerance for different speed data rates.(Some copy protections write using a higher speed and thus preventing you from making copies with your drive. But they're still readable). Thanks.
