Giordano) Organization: Purdue Univ. Physics Dept., W. Lafayette, IN Lines: 30 I am having trouble getting my Lucas board to work. The symptom is simple: nothing happens when I power up. More precisely, the keyboard led flashes once, the screen goes white, and nothing more happens. I have tried the following (1) change U9 - I've tried 74ALS74, 74S74, 74LS74, and 7474. (2) install the jumper. (3) install the PAL grounding fix. (4) remove and reseat the Lucas board and all chips (many times). None of these changes make any difference. My Amiga still works fine with the 68000 in place. Note, I am using 16MHz 68020 and 68881, and a 16MHz clock. The Lucas board is getting power (I checked), and the clock is running (I checked that too). What should I try next? Has anybody had similar problems? Is there anyone nearby me who has a Lucas board - it might help if we talked directly. Many thanks in advance. Nick Giordano Physics Department - Purdue U. W.
