Since there's no 16-bit operating system that runs on the 65802 that I know of and you can still only address 64K of memory at a time on the 65802 there really isn't much to support beyond what ECP8 already does via ProDOS 8 on a 65802 based machine. Sure I could save a few bytes here or there and maybe even save a little execution time but the gain wouldn't even be noticable for an OS shell which is mainly limited by I/O device speed more so than processor speed.
