No, it's not a filename problem; even when I try to get kermit65 to receive, and I can see the sending (remote) kermit's packets on the RECEIVE DETECT l.e.d. of my modem, it still doesn't work. I'm convinced I'm doing something wrong in the sequence of commands to kermit65, but even with my MS in computer science I can't figure out what. My gut feeling, however, is that when I OPTION to Break the connection (the only way to get the kermit65 command prompt), I've preveneted kermit65 from talking to the other kermit. But the only way I know to re-establish the connection is to interrupt the kermit65 kermit operation. Could someone post a complete sequencing of the keystrokes used to do a send (or a receive) with kermit65? Thanks for your patience.
