I have been trying (at various times in the "off-hours" to reach the archive,
by using it's current address (35.1.1.43).  I've received confirmation from
both Jon Brode & Howard Chu that this is the correct address, and I am able
to successfully ping other hosts in ...cc.umich, so I suspect that they are
having h/w problems or have decided to drop him1 off the net for a while.

I appreciate the fact that it's their good citizenship which makes it even
possible at all, but I feel like a kid whose birthday presents all turned out
to be empty boxes.  Hope you guys can get it back on the air soon.
