This is true, the //gs is capable of displaying 3200 colors, but... Only 16 per line (as opposed to 48, isn't it?), and one has to push the gs to its ABSOLUTE limits to get the effect, as opposed to simply doing longword stores... Two things to mention: 1) I'm typing this on a //gs, so I'm not randomly knocking the //gs, and 2) I know the author of the 3200 code, and I understand how it works.
